Dremgara® 2026 Upgrade Drainable Garage Floor Containment Mat FAQ

How do I install it?

Clear the floor, unfold the mat near its final location, let it relax, install the foam strip into the drainage outlet pocket if included, seal the hook-and-loop closure, align the mat with your vehicle, and secure corners or edges if needed.

Do I need to install the foam strip?

Yes, if your model includes a foam strip for the drainage outlet. The foam helps restore the raised edge at the drainage area during normal containment use.

Should the drainage outlet stay sealed?

Yes. Keep the drainage outlet hook-and-loop closure sealed during normal use. Open it only when you are actively draining or cleaning.

Is it waterproof?

DremGara® is designed with a water-control surface to help contain common garage moisture such as rainwater and snowmelt. For best results, remove standing water and keep the drainage outlet sealed during normal use.

How do I choose the right size?

Choose a mat slightly longer than the vehicle. For maximum coverage, select a mat slightly longer than your vehicle (e.g., a 16' mat is perfect for a 15'7" sedan). Ensure your garage is 0.5–1 ft longer than the mat for a flawless fit. You can also use our Size& Fit tools to sure which size you need.

Do I need to use the hook-and-loop strips?

The mat can be placed directly on the garage floor, but the included hook-and-loop strips can help secure edges or corners where extra hold is needed.

Can it handle heavy vehicles?

Yes, this containment mat can handle heavy vehicles, such as SUVs, Full-Size Pickup Trucks. To ensure the best performance and stability, please keep the following in mind:

Before purchasing: Measure your vehicle’s length and width, and choose a mat size that fully covers the parking area (including extra room in front, behind, and on the sides for dripping water and mud).

After receiving the product: Follow the installation instructions carefully and securely attach all provided hook-and-look strips to both the mat and the floor. This will keep the mat firmly in place and prevent any shifting, curling, or bunching when you drive in and out.

With the right size and proper installation, this mat is more than capable of handling your daily heavy vehicle use.

Is it easy to clean?

Yes. Sweep loose debris first. For wet messes, rinse or wipe the surface, then use a squeegee to move water, snowmelt, or debris toward a safe cleanup area or drainage outlet. Let the mat dry after cleaning.

Why are there wrinkles when unpacked?

Large PVC mats can show shipping creases after being rolled or folded. Let the mat warm and flatten before final placement.
